The Bold and the Beautiful spoiler for Thursday, September 4, 2025, tease Taylor wanting to firm up her life while Eric makes one last plea.
Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) might project an air of confidence, but she is anything but. In fact, she is a complete nervous wreck thinking that she is going to lose Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) again, so she wants to speed up the timeline and set a wedding date right away. Maybe she should consult with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), who wanted the same from Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) last week, because he fears her going back to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Ridge once again tries to dance around the issue of a wedding date when Taylor brings it up. He is not sure how to break Taylor’s heart again, which he literally did quite recently. Would he end up killing her this time?

Does Ridge regret the promise he made to Brooke in Italy when he vowed to make things right when they got back to Los Angeles? He has yet to do that because he is an emotional coward who does not want to deal with the fallout.
Eric Goes To Bat For Brooke
Eric Forrester (John McCook) has been Brooke’s biggest champion through all of this and did his best to get Ridge to see that he belonged with Brooke when they were in Italy.
It feels like Eric wants Brooke for himself, but he figures his son is the next best thing. If Brooke has Ridge, then Brooke can be in his life.
Eric does his best to once again get through to Ridge, who argues that Thomas Forrester and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MaInnes Wood) don’t have a say in the matter.
They are two grown adults who are parents themselves and should know it’s okay if Mommy and Daddy aren’t together. It’s not like either of them have a healthy love life history.
Will Ridge take his father’s advice and finally break things off with Taylor when it’s clear his heart is not in this engagement at all. Will it kill Taylor if he does?
