General Hospital (GH) spoilers divulge that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) is desperate to get a handle on what nefarious forces were up to at the Five Poppies Hotel in Croatia and this could mean kidnapping Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
If Britt is taken for grilling, we expect Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to have a meltdown into scorched earth. Let’s unpack what could happen next in this fast-moving plot.
Brennan is Desperate
Jason is furious that Brennan conscripted Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) into the WSB. Despite that, he’s promised not to tell her mom, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) which will become another nuclear bombshell when the truth comes out.
But if Brennan targets Britt that’s a whole other ballgame. There is no denying the connection between these Bason no matter how much Britt refutes it.
After Josslyn and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) were rescued, Brennan stunned them by popping up at their love shack in Australia. He needs them to get more info on whatever is going on between Britt and Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard).
WSB Mission Contaminated
Brennan claimed that Britt needs to be debriefed and maybe detained—which sounds like a sanitized version of a kidnapping.
Brennan is not known for his hospitality—when he wanted to question Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) a bag was thrown over her head and she was abducted.
Is Brennan about to do the same to Britt? If so, he’ll have to face the wrath of Stone Cold.
Jason Loves Britt Period
Before their reconnection, Bason were hot and heavy and it’s obvious their feelings haven’t gone away. If Brennan tangles with Jason, he runs the risk of the latter spilling everything he knows to Carly.
If Jason informs Carly that Brennan recruited Joss into the murky WSB world and nearly got her killed, Brennan will need to buy a bullet proof vest and live in fear the rest of his life.
Can you see any world in which Carly forgives Jack this blunder? Good guy Jason vowed to keep Josslyn’s secret but every man has his breaking point.
What Happens Next in Port Charles?
Jason simply does not like Brennan so it won’t take much to rile him up—kidnapping Britt would defiantly push him over the top. Being a true company man, Brennan is not giving up on his mission and his determination intensifies when Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) shows up alive.
All roads lead back to Britt and we predict Brennan will do whatever it takes to get what he wants!
