Viewers have seen multiple replays of the fateful night in question. Will’s foolish belief that partying hard was smart allowed Luna to hide in plain sight at the restaurant where her infamous grandmother roams.
But Luna’s plan to ply Will with high alcohol content liquor and then take advantage of him didn’t work, or at least it hasn’t yet. The negative pregnancy test result, which observers on the other side of the screen witnessed moments before Will broke into the room where Luna was living, appeared to mean no dice.

Will thought Luna was dead. So did everyone except Li Nozawa (Naomi Matsuda), who pulled another family member back from the dead.
Li’s act of mercy happened on the operating table and led to a second concealing of a character believed to have perished. But Luna lived, as Morrow’s terrific reaction shot reinforced.
Luna was counting on faking a pregnancy result to secure Will’s loyalty and his father’s second time helping in escaping the needed justice. But since she’s not pregnant, how will Yamada’s character win in this storyline?
John Finn Finnegan Bonds With His Daughter?
Meanwhile, John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is missing his beloved wife and children. They are on vacation. So, he’s toiling at the hospital while his adopted mother takes some time off.
He and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) were relieved to learn that Luna was no longer a threat.
While Finn grieved the loss of his misguided and criminal daughter, he also recognized that her absence from LA meant peace of mind replaced ongoing chaos. That was the mental bargain he made.
Will’s discovery of Luna’s existence means Finn’s world will again churn. Steffy will soon learn about this remarkable turnaround, with this miracle not being celebrated as she did Li’s save of Finn’s life in recent years.
If Luna stays in the picture and isn’t put back in jail or escapes, will Finn seek to bond with her? The odds have improved on that front by a degree because of the Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) factor.
Sheila Carter Sharpe Gains Modest Respect
Something cool happened before Steffy left. She recognized Sheila’s bravery and implied that normalized relations were possible.
The audience takes nothing for granted and knows that Steffy’s return will be needed before Finn advances his thoughts about Luna. Whether they learn about Sheila’s awareness of that notorious character’s continued life will be vital.
Sheila has earned respect in recent months. But she can just as easily backslide if Steffy ferrets out Sheila’s awareness of Luna. However, Sheila could take a proactive approach and come clean, avoiding a later exposure of her own.
