Since The Bold and the Beautiful doesn’t tend to do “subtle,” we don’t need anything but a ruler and a pencil to connect the dots and draw a straight line to Taylor’s new love interest: It’s none other than Deacon.

Why Would Taylor and Deacon Get Together?
We’ve liked the idea of Taylor and Deacon pairing up since back when Krista Allen was playing the part. Now, Taylor is on the rebound from her latest split from Ridge, and in the week ahead (previewed here), Deacon’s marriage is going to falter as he learns that wife Sheila kept him in the dark about granddaughter Luna’s “resurrection.”

Disillusioned with their significant others, Taylor and Deacon could find in one another a sympathetic ear to bend… a good friend who could, in the blink of an eye, become something more. But that theory isn’t the reason we’re so very sure these two are bound for couplehood.

Here’s What the Spoilers Reveal About Deacon and Taylor
In the aftermath of Deacon’s blowup with Sheila this week, he seeks out Taylor. He’s looking for counseling from the shrink, not consoling. And she suggests that he should seek therapy from someone whom Sheila hasn’t “killed” in the past.

But come on. The writing is on the wall. Once these two start spending more time together and get to know one another better, it’s only a matter of one starry night before Taylor’s not only treating Deacon’s head but making a place for herself in his heart. There are other options for Taylor — review all her potential suitors here — but Deacon is clearly going to be the first one out of the gate.
