Emmerdale newcomer Celia Daniels will have another run-in with Paddy Dingle as she leaves him shaken up, though she soon exhibits a change in behaviour — can the mysterious newcomer be trusted now? Celia arrived in the Dales back in June and soon became acquainted with Paddy after her dog attacked him, though the no-nonsense newcomer denied it was her animal who caused the incident.
Since then, the fiery farmer has tried to secure more land in the area and teamed up with Joe Tate in order to scam Moira. In a surprising twist, Celia switched allegiances and aligned with Moira, though it remains unclear if she’s playing both parties.

“Moira can’t get enough of Celia now that they’re seemingly good friends,” our Emmerdale source shares. “Now that she’s seen a nicer side to Celia, she wants the other villagers to realise that the newcomer isn’t all bad.
“It’s a big breakthrough for Moira when she gets Celia on good terms with Paddy, despite the drama over the dog attack. But is Celia still playing Moira for a fool?” they continued.
While Celia and Paddy continue to have a slightly fractious relationship, the newcomer’s bond with Moira has strengthened over the past few weeks. Though the lingering doubt of some duplicity remains at play given Celia’s character.
Moira seemingly had plenty of reason to trust her former foe after she switched sides, with the figure signing a contract as they entered into an illegal business deal. Could it come back to bite her?

“It could go either way… It makes you wonder whether Celia is pretending to be something she’s not, or whether she has Moira’s back all the way. If one thing’s for sure, it’s that this story is one to watch.”
