Well, viewers, we now have that answer for you… The ABC show’s official Instagram page posted a video with Paevey and Finola Hughes (Anna) captioned, “Our lips are sealed… until Friday.”

The video started with Hughes running into Paevey — almost literally — outside the studios. “Hey, Ryan,” she stated. “What are you doing here?” After explaining that he worked there, she replied, “At GH? You work here?” He assured her he did and though he had left, he came back.

She then noticed the script in his hand and asked, “You studying lines?” Paevey confirmed he was and when she asked when he would first appear, he answered, “Friday,” to which Hughes further questioned, “This Friday? The 19th? September 19th?” Paevey repeated that yes, in fact, his first airdate back would be this Friday. “Who are you playing?” she inquired, but Paevey only whispered, “I can’t tell you that. It’s a secret, Shhh.”

Fans were over the moon with excitement and jumped under the post with their welcome-back messages, as Cameron Mathison (Drew) sent a bunch of heart emojis and Laura Wright (Carly) gave a big shoutout, “Love!”
