Who is going to wear her crown next? Of course, we are talking about General Hospital’s Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) as a lot of fans can’t help but wonder who is going to take her place as the new head of the Q family. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Who Is Going To Take Tracy’s Place?
Although the show hasn’t addressed it, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) is gone. Tracy has been the one leading the Quartermaine helm.
And while Tracy is great, given her age, the show should be looking towards the future. For the next matriarch or at least grooming someone for that position. We need someone to lead the upcoming generation of Quartermaines.
Of course, General Hospital fans on the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some even commented with, “The Qs have hardly started to have these discussions, not even loosely. I’m hoping it’s soon considering what we know about Martin intercepting a letter addressed to Monica he has yet to return.”
“I assume Olivia is the next lady of the manor, but as far as bloodlines go, it’d probably be BLQ.”
What’s Next For The Quartermaine Family?
Another fan of the show wrote, “Maybe once Maurice retires (depending on how his story ends) Jason and or Michael would take the Quartermaine name again and return fully to the fold.”
“Michael is the best choice to succeed Monica as head of household, Ned is hardly around so why not. Jason, I don’t see it.”
And then there was this comment as well: “It needs to be a Q who is not a Sonny Corinthos apologist, enabler, or worshipper and has the Quartermaine name. That takes out Michael, Brooklynn, Jason. Drew is ruled out for too many obvious reasons.”
“That leaves Ned and Dillon. unless the show writes that AJ had a child with Nikki Langdon or Kesha Ward.”
It goes without saying that GH fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
