In her room above Bobbie’s, Britt injects herself with her meds when Jason drops by. He’s there to fix the stuck window, which she can’t close, and needs to head to work. He manages to take care of it easily. She also asks if he can clear out his closet. He says he’ll work on it, but he has other commitments right now. He grabs a suit from the closet, and Britt makes a joke that he must be headed to a formal Mob function. He informs her about Monica’s death and upcoming services.

Britt says she is so sorry and is really living up to her nickname lately. Jason explains the circumstances of his finding her. Britt blames herself for his being in Croatia and not with his mother during her last days, but Jason insists he was where he was meant to be.

Jason says Monica always wanted him to do the right thing, and that’s what he was doing. He also says that since moving back into the Quartermaines, he has spent a lot of time with Monica this past year, and he’s grateful for that time. He just wished he knew that was all the time they’d get.

Out on the street, Martin makes a call to someone, assuming they’ve heard about Monica’s passing. He has the details of the memorial service, if they would like to attend. Could he be talking to Monica’s surprise sister? (Here’s all we know about Erika Slezak’s character so far.)
Where Is Tracy?
Lulu arrives at the Quartermaines and tells Brook Lynn how sorry she is about Monica. Brook Lynn invites her in, and they join Michael and Ned in the living room. Brook Lynn leaves to let Tracy know that Lulu is here, but quickly returns, unable to find Tracy. Ned suggests she’s probably at the stables, so Michael heads out to look for her.

Ned tells Lulu that Tracy is putting up a tough front, but he’s never seen his mother this fragile. As they talk about Monica and Tracy’s evolving relationship since Monica fell ill, Michael returns. He can’t find Tracy, and her car is gone, so she could be anywhere.
Brook Lynn quickly discovers Tracy’s bed hasn’t been slept in, and her overnight bag is gone. All her medications are gone as well, and so is her jewelry, including Lila’s brooch.
Michael says he’ll contact Brick about looking for Tracy, and Ned heads out to see if the ELQ jet was taken. Alone, Lulu tells Brook Lynn that together, they should be able to figure out where she went. When Lulu thinks about what her dad would have done, she realizes where Tracy is.

Stella Is Back at Work
Jordan drops by Drew’s room at the hospital. He doesn’t feel up to arguing with her about Curtis or Stella, given that Monica just died. Jordan notes that’s why she’s here. She tells him people all over this city will mourn and miss Monica, but the same can’t be said about him, given his recent brush with death. She tells Drew that if he can’t be a better man for Monica, then do it for his daughter. This is his chance to turn things around, and maybe there is hope for him.

Felicia welcomes Stella back to the hospital. Stella is relieved that the investigation has been dropped, and now she wants to focus on her work and friends. Stella talks with Felicia about how she’s managing. Felicia calls the hospital in Boston every day, but there has been no change regarding Maxie’s condition.
Later, Martin shows up and is happy to see Stella back at work. He wanted to see her smiling face before going to see Drew. Stella thought he was done with him? She quickly realizes Martin went back to work for Drew to get the investigation into her dropped. Martin admits it, noting that he was the one who got her in trouble to begin with. She doesn’t like it, but Martin insists he knows how to handle Drew.

A nurse goes in to check on Nathan, who is still unconscious, and still listed on the charts as a John Doe.
Marshall Is Back!
At home, Trina hugs her granddad, who is back from his tour. Marshall tells Curtis and Portia that they need to come together as a family to make sure Curtis doesn’t take the fall for Drew’s shooting. Curtis and Portia play the part of a happy couple for Marshall, even holding hands, which Trina takes note of.

Curtis would rather not get into this in front of Trina, but Trina argues she’s a part of this family and they need to face this together. Curtis appreciates them and says the police have nothing on him. He trusts that in time, the PCPD will find their suspect.

Just then, Dante arrives to speak with Curtis. Dante wants to go over his statement again, as Turner is nitpicking every detail. They sit down, and Curtis goes over the timeline of that night, which includes taking Stella home, visiting Alexis, heading to The Savoy, and then meeting Jordan later. He also recalls stopping for gas. Portia is clearly unhappy when she hears about his meeting with Jordan.
Dante eventually heads out, and Portia looks at Curtis and says, “Time to go!”

Portia storms out, and Curtis follows her. He tells her this isn’t the time for “this.” Portia says he made his choice, and he chose Jordan over her, as he always does.
Inside, Trina worries about her parents. Marshall suggests they make a pot of coffee.
Nina Gets a Bomb Dropped On Her
Nina arrives at Anna’s office, as the commissioner called her in on matters pertaining to her brother, Nathan. Nina asks if this has to do with Britt’s return. Anna says she’s not sure but tells her about the man brought into GH who has been positively identified as Nathan. Nina insists their tests are wrong.

Anna says she saw her brother herself, and came to Nina first, knowing Obrecht is still dealing with the shock of Britt’s return. Nina finds this all so odd; both Britt and Nathan show up alive at the same time. Nina insists this man isn’t her brother and believes this is a manipulation by Cesar Faison.

Anna thought the same, but Faison’s brain is in a jar. Currently, they require a positive family ID, but Nina refuses. Anna says she can’t go to Obrecht or Britt and begs Nina to do this.

Felicia Gets a Shock
Back at the hospital, Felicia heads into John Doe’s room as a patient advocate and stumbles in shock when she sees Nathan, dropping all her papers. Anna soon arrives and helps Felicia, who is almost catatonic, out of the room. Nina is standing outside and sees the look of shock on Felicia’s face. Anna leads Felicia off to talk to her, and Nina peers into the room, seeing her brother.

In the break room, Anna explains that she had to find proof that the man was Nathan before she told anyone about him, and it has now been confirmed that he is Nathan. Anna doesn’t understand how this is possible, as he died, but then again, so did Britt. Felicia says the only person who would know for sure that man is Nathan is currently in a coma.
Nina goes into Nathan’s room, approaches his bedside and begins to cry.
Elsewhere, Jordan finds Stella and is glad she is back. Stella is glad the whole mess is over, thanks Jordan for her help, but worries the damage has been done and Curtis could be in trouble.

Martin heads to see Drew and fills him in on the update to the injunction they filed. Drew can’t focus on this now and is only thinking about Monica. She treated him like a son until Tracy, Michael and the rest of the family turned her against him.

In the Show’s Final Moments
Above Bobbie’s, Britt tells Jason maybe it’s better that Monica’s passing was unexpected, as he was able to focus on being together and not having to say goodbye. She says she’s speaking from experience. Jason grabs his suit to head out, and wishes Britt luck on her first day back at GH.

At the hospital, Martin says he’s Drew’s attorney, and that’s all, so Drew should talk to a therapist about his family issues. Drew says Martin is just the person he should be speaking to. His family may have cut him out of Monica’s life, but he won’t let them cut him out of her will.
At the Qs’ mansion, everyone regroups, and Ned says that if Lulu is right, they need to find his mother and bring her home for the funeral, which she’ll regret missing. Ned knows someone who can get to Monica faster than any of them, and calls that person for a favor.
Back at GH, Jordan tells Stella that she has faith that Curtis didn’t shoot Drew. They were with each other at a bar that night, and Curtis had way too much to lose by shooting Drew.

Outside of their house, Portia yells at Curtis that whenever things get tough, he always runs to Jordan. Curtis argues that all this time, he’s been trying to protect her, which is why the cops aren’t questioning her. She tells him to stop, as she’s done pretending that they have a marriage. She storms off, Curtis heads back inside, and Trina stands there giving him a look.
In the hospital break room, Felicia tells Anna that if this is Nathan, she doesn’t know how this will affect poor James. If it isn’t Nathan, it could screw up James even more. Anna says they will find out the truth about what has happened and who this man is.

In Nathan’s room, Nina takes her brother’s hand, and he squeezes it and stirs awake. She cries, Jay.” He smiles at her.
