In mid-September, Bold & Beautiful cast the handsome actor as Forrester Creations’ first gay designer — with plans to drop him into a romance with a reformed Remy.

Summer brought in one last heat wave with the first appearance of this Bold & Beautiful newcomer as Lainey, a Forrester Creations employee with a keen interest in working with Will.

In August, the news broke that the fan fave was returning as Thomas — hopefully with word as to why he and Paris still haven’t tied the knot.

Once the truth came out — that Liam had never had a brain tumor, much less a terminal, inoperable one — Grace was sent off to pay the piper after scamming Bill out of a cool $1M.

In the June 12 episode, the youngster who was taking over the role of Finn and Steffy’s son Hayes made a heckuva terrific first impression. Of course, if he was coming, that meant that someone else was…

Yup, the recast meant that the twins who’d previously played Hayes had left the building, so to speak. Not even “so to speak.” They probably aren’t still in the building.

Ahead of May sweeps, the news broke that the General Hospital legend was returning to Bold & Beautiful as Brooke’s lost love — and Ridge’s half brother — Nick.

Grace was on hand to play doctor when Liam was wheeled into the ER. But could even her skills save us from realizing the full impact if he died?

A March social-media post revealed that the reality-TV mainstay (The Hills, Wife Swap, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here) would soon be knock, knock, knocking on the Forresters’ front door. Wife Heidi Montag guested with him.

Deputy Chief Baker was as shocked as anyone to learn during his March visit to Bill’s estate that his services would not be needed as Luna had been paroled.

Bold & Beautiful was set to start to new year in 2025 with a new cast member. But ahead of her debut, the character of Daphne was shrouded in mystery. We knew nothing about her except that she was gorgeous.

If Thomas is gone, it would stand to reason that so is his latest fiancée, Paris.

Yes, you! In December, ahead of his return to the screen, the Emmy winner Instagrammed that he was back at work. “Obviously,” he joked, “Liam’s been away at a very expensive tree-hugging, vegan granola yoga retreat.”

The November 8, 2024, cliffhanger introduced this handsome poet as Remy Pryce, a mystery man with, let’s say, a keen interest in Electra.

Despite being brought down by her Aunt Li’s “Nozawa power,” Luna was headed back to the canvas just in time for November sweeps. We could only imagine that “killer” twists were in store!

Apparently, that kiss Ivy shared with Liam stayed with her as much as it did him. In September, it was reported that Brewer would be returning to her former role — and perhaps returning Ivy to her ex’s arms!

The daytime newcomer nabbed the plum part of Ivy’s niece and Eric’s grandniece, Electra.

Unlike Sheila, who’s gotten away with murder for decades, it looked like Luna was going to pay for killing Tom and Hollis, not to mention treating Steffy like a canary.

Shock-o-rama! In the August 6 episode of Bold & Beautiful, it was revealed that the mystery woman spying on “Bridge” in Monte Carlo was Taylor… now played by Guiding Light, All My Children and General Hospital alum Budig.

Hollis has served his last pizza. In the July 12 episode, the Il Giardino waiter was in the worst kind of way “stiffed.”

Nope. No matter how cute the extra standing behind the Bold & Beautiful vet was, we couldn’t help but think it was suspicious that he turned back up as Jack on the night a murder went down. On a related note, we also had another surprise appearance.

We hadn’t seen Justin rubbing elbows with the Bold & Beautiful in ages until the fateful episode that marked the swan song of a certain other character. A precursor to his own demise?

Dang it. Bold & Beautiful underdog Tom was just starting to turn his life around when kaboom! Someone dropped drugs in his sports drink and gave him a fatal overdose.

In late June of 2024, the fan favorite brought Thomas home from Paris — and he wasn’t alone, either.

Obviously, Thomas had to come back with Dad. Would you leave a kid to his own devices around all that French pastry? Didn’t think so. Mind you, the real surprise was the third character that Bold & Beautiful returned to L.A.

So that’s where Paris had been all that time. Thomas and Douglas’ homecoming revealed that Zoe’s sister hadn’t just been stuck in Thorne’s old office in the basement.

SORAS has struck Bill and Katie’s son, Will. In the summer of 2024, the 19-year-old son of Young & Restless MVP Joshua Morrow (Nick) assumed the role from its previous portrayer.

Yup, with Morrow having been cast as the Will who’d have to get used to having Luna for a sister, the youngster who had last played the part was moved on to other opportunities.

She’d look a lot older when she appeared on Bold & Beautiful as lab tech April — this pic was snapped all the way back in 2004! — but nonetheless, it is the daughter of TV funnyman Jim Belushi who’d be playing lab tech April.

Fly the funny skies? That was what Bold & Beautiful had in mind when it booked the Roseanne vet — both on and off screen — to play Deuce Stevens, the captain jetting the Forresters back to Monte Carlo in the summer of 2024.

With the revelation that Sheila’s body had 10 toes, not nine, came the realization that the long-running villainess was no deader this time around than she was on any of the other occasions when her victims danced prematurely on her grave.

The uber-familiar character actor set a spring 2024 return as Carl the Hospital Janitor — just in time for Sheila’s cremation. Coincidence? Hmm.

If ever an occasion called for a Young & Restless crossover, it was the funeral of Sheila Carter. So this Emmy winner made plans to ensure that her longtime victim was going to be there to dance on the psycho’s grave.

In March, SoapHub reported that the Aussie actress was returning as Ivy, Eric’s niece and once a love interest for Liam.

The fan favorite was set to make his first 2024 appearance as Douglas in late March — just in time for the embattled moppet to hear about all of the upheaval in his parents’ relationship.

In March, we learned that the former child star of Gentle Ben had been tapped to play a homeless man who holds the key to an ongoing mystery. Maybe he’ll reveal how in all these years Forrester Creations has never had a single gay designer on its staff!

Whether Sheila will stay dead is sure to be a matter of some debate. But the February 26 episode sure made it look as if Steffy had fatally stabbed the merry murderess.

Remember Maya’s cousin, the aspiring graphic artist who fled England to get away from Zoe and their accents, dated ill-fated Emma and then wound up reuniting with his no-longer-crazy ex? As 2023 took a bow, the show brought back the former Forrester employee. But why? Hmm…
