The Young and the Restless cast celebrates Halloween with a fun “Thriller” dance video led by Courtney Hope and Melissa Claire Egan.
It’s always a good day when The Young and the Restless gives fans a fun peek behind the curtain — and this time, the cast truly outdid themselves with a spooky, music-filled Halloween surprise.
The latest behind-the-scenes clip was dreamt up by leading ladies Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra) and Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson), who decided to bring a little seasonal fun to the set. Together, they rallied members of the cast and crew for a playful Halloween video that’s already putting smiles on fans’ faces.
The video features the cast recreating iconic moments from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” complete with the classic dance moves, costumes, and plenty of laughter in between takes.
Y&R Stars Dance to Thriller
Among the familiar faces are the legendary Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), along with Sean Dominic, Bryton James, Zuleyka Silver, Amelia Heinle, Melissa Ordway, Christel Khalil, Mark Grossman, Cait Fairbanks, and Christian LeBlanc—just to name a few. Even the show’s newer additions, Tamara Braun and Lucas Adams, joined in on the fun, proving they’re already fitting right in with the Y&R family.
After the video made its way to social media, Mandi Line, the show’s head of wardrobe, couldn’t contain her excitement. She shared, “Thank you for making this happen @missyclaireegan and @thecourtneyhope!! These are moments that I’ll never forget!!! And I’m so happy we got to tease these looks! Just you wait to see them and what these 50s are all about!”
Fans quickly flooded the comments with heart emojis and praise for the cast’s creativity and humor. Many loved seeing their favorite daytime stars letting loose and having fun off-camera.
